Our Reports

At Giiwedinong Treaty Rights & Culture Museum, we prioritize transparency and accountability in our operations and initiatives. Our reports record our activities, accomplishments, and challenges, ensuring that our community and stakeholders are informed about our progress in preserving and promoting Aniishinaabe culture and treaty rights.

Annual Report

Each year, we compile an Annual Report that highlights our key achievements, projects, and financial statements. This document provides insights into our educational programs, community engagement efforts, and partnerships that help us fulfill our mission. The report also includes narratives on the cultural programs we implemented and their impact on the local community.

All reports are available for public and stakeholder review, reflecting our commitment to our work at Giiwedinong Museum.

Giiwedinong Museum Annual Report 2024

As we celebrated our inaugural milestone on October 12, 2024, we reflected on another meaningful year at Giiwedinong (‘in the north’). We are immensely grateful for the strong community we have built together. This report goes beyond just numbers; it is a tribute to the lives we have touched and the positive impact we have made within our Anishinaabe community and beyond.

This is an opportunity to make history, not just preserve it.
