DΓa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Celebration!
The Giiwedinong Treaty Rights and Cultural Museum invites the community to a vibrant DΓa de los Muertos Block Party on November 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armory Arts and Events Center in Park Rapids, Minnesota.
Join us for an evening filled with cultural celebration and community connection. Highlights include:
Face Painting by local artist Guillermo Valadez, bringing the spirit of calaveras to life.
Altar Decoration by Guillermo Valadez, creating a beautiful community ofrenda to honor loved ones.
Delicious Food from Vallartas Mexican Grill, offering authentic Mexican bites.
Community Ofrenda, where attendees can bring a photo to honor loved ones and celebrate enduring connections.
Organized by the Giiwedinong Treaty Rights and Cultural Museum with support from Armando Mendez, Latino Community Engagement Specialist from MAHUBE-OTWA, this event invites everyone to don their calavera best and celebrate the rich traditions of DΓa de los Muertos.
